Most small jobs land in the Small Load range. Bigger projects (clean-outs, hot tubs, full garages) move up from there.
A cubic yard is a 3-ft × 3-ft × 3-ft cube — about the size of a standard washing machine. Our trailer holds roughly 16 yards. Here’s what different fill levels actually look like, and what they typically cost.
Prices are typical ranges based on volume. Extra fees may apply for concrete, car tires, or special disposal items. We always quote on-site before we load anything — no surprises.
No sales tricks. No hidden fees. Just a straightforward look-and-quote.
Tell us what you have and roughly where it is. We'll give you a ballpark range over the phone and book a same-day or next-day pickup.
Our team sizes up the load in person and shows you exactly where it fits on our trailer — and what the real price is before we lift a thing.
Love the price? We load it, sweep up, and haul it away. Don't love the price? No worries — the quote is always free.
At EZ Junk & Hauling LLC, we believe pricing should be the easiest part of junk removal — not the scariest. That’s why we use a simple, volume-based model: you pay for the space your stuff takes up on our trailer, and nothing more. Our trailer holds about 16 cubic yards, which is roughly the volume of a full one-car garage packed shoulder-high. Minimum service is $125 (great for a single couch, a broken appliance, or a handful of garbage bags), and a completely full trailer tops out at $750.
Most of our Salem and Keizer customers fall somewhere in the middle. A typical bedroom clean-out — mattress, box spring, dresser, nightstand, and a dozen trash bags — usually lands in the $325–$450 range. A garage that’s been collecting boxes, old tools, and yard debris for years usually runs $500–$650. Full estate clean-outs, hoarding situations, or big outdoor hauls (shed tear-downs, fence debris, hot tubs) typically fill the trailer and hit the $750 cap.
What’s always included: labor, loading, transportation, dump fees, and a sweep-up afterward. We also make sure everything that can be donated or recycled goes to local partners and nonprofits first — it’s cheaper for you and better for our community. A few items carry small extra fees: mattresses and box springs have a Marion County disposal surcharge, car tires cost a few dollars apiece to recycle, and refrigerators or freezers need certified refrigerant handling. We’ll always call those out in the on-site quote before we touch anything.
We also never charge for quotes. Call or text 971-226-7435, send us a photo of the pile, and we’ll give you an honest range right over the phone. If we show up and the load is smaller than we thought, the price drops — simple as that. Compare pricing: For market context, the national HomeAdvisor junk removal cost guide averages $150 to $500 per job. Our Salem pricing is simple, upfront, and often well below those averages because we skip the middleman.

We charge by volume — how much space your junk takes up on our trailer. Heavy items like dirt, rock, or concrete may have a small surcharge because of dump-by-weight fees, but furniture, appliances, and general household junk are purely by volume.
Yes. Even for a single item, our minimum is $125 because that covers our drive, labor, and dump fee. For very small pickups it often works out cheaper to add a few extra things to your pile.
Usually yes — especially if you text us a photo or two. We'll give you an honest range. The final price is always confirmed on-site before we lift anything, so there are never surprises.
Mattresses, box springs, car tires, refrigerators/freezers, and large volumes of concrete or dirt can have small surcharges because of county disposal rules. We'll call those out in your quote.
Yes. Cash, card, Venmo, and Zelle — whatever's easiest. No deposits, no invoices chasing you around.
