Salem's family-owned junk removal team

EZ Junk & Hauling LLC is owned and operated by Edward Zinda, a Salem, Oregon father who started the company in 2023 with one trailer, one pickup, and a promise to show up when he says he will. Three years later we still answer our own phones, still load every truck ourselves, and still serve every neighborhood in Marion and Polk County — Salem, Keizer, West Salem, South Salem, Four Corners, Hayesville, Brooks, Turner, Aumsville, Stayton, Independence, Monmouth, and Dallas.

Residential junk removal is the bulk of what we do. That means anything inside your house, in your garage, on your back porch, or out at the curb. If two people can carry it and a 16-yard trailer can hold it, we'll haul it away — usually the same day you call. There's no per-item fee, no stair fee, no fuel surcharge, and no charge for our time spent loading. You pay one flat price based on how much room your stuff takes up in our trailer. That's it.

We're a Christian-based, family-owned business — Edward, his wife, and their kids are the faces you'll meet on most jobs. That changes how we work. We treat your home the way we'd want our own treated. We sweep up after ourselves. We don't track mud through the entryway. We don't dump your stuff in a vacant lot — we route as much as possible to local donation centers (Goodwill, Salvation Army, Union Gospel Mission) and the Marion County recycling and transfer station for everything else.

When most Salem homeowners call us

The most common reason: a single big item that won't fit in a Subaru. A queen mattress. An old recliner. A washer that died. People are surprised how affordable single-item pickup is — usually our $125 minimum. The next most common reason is a "I just don't have time anymore" pile that's been growing in the garage for two years. We arrive, you point, we load. Most garage cleanouts wrap up in 90 minutes. After a renovation we haul out drywall scraps, old fence boards, and bagged construction debris. After a move we clear the leftovers the previous owners abandoned. After downsizing a parent's house we run multiple trailer loads over a day or two.

What we don't haul

Hazardous waste — paint, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides, asbestos. Those need a licensed hazmat hauler and we'll point you to the right Marion County drop-off. Everything else is fair game.

Residential FAQ

How fast can you come pick something up?

Most days, same-day. Call before noon and we usually have you on the schedule for that afternoon. Booking the day before guarantees a morning slot.

Do I need to drag everything to the curb?

Nope. We come inside your house, garage, basement, attic, backyard — wherever the stuff is. You point, we carry.

How is pricing calculated?

By volume — how much room your stuff takes up in our 16-yard dump trailer. $125 minimum, $750 for a full trailer, sliding scale in between. We give you the price before we load anything.

Will you take just one item?

Yes. Single mattresses, single couches, single appliances — all hit the $125 minimum. No upcharge for being a small job.

Are you insured?

Yes — fully licensed and insured in Oregon, with general liability coverage so your home and belongings are protected the whole time we're on site.

Where does the stuff actually go?

As much as possible to local donation (Goodwill, Salvation Army, Union Gospel Mission). Metal goes to recycling. Everything else to the Marion County transfer station.

Ready to clear it out?

Same-day pickup across Salem, Keizer, and Marion & Polk County.
